Sgt. Ilena McCallister is a troubled crime-fighter with a marriage on the rocks. Adultery and alcoholism are the order of the day; that is until  a 'ghost' turns the city of Bay View on its ear: a Baptist minister is losing his congregation and decides to take matters into his own hands; gang-bangers are reading the Bible and an FBI official is on the hunt for international gun runners. 

 

All of this and more threatens to change McCallister's life in ways that she never expected. It would be so much easier if she had heard the 'ghost' sharing the world's greatest mystery and secret with an undercover cop: the Name of God!
